How the national ranking works
Sanctioned events, membership tiers, points and SPR, in plain English.
Ranking points come from sanctioned APL events. A free Bronze account plays league-night round robins; official APL Rankings and sanctioned tournament competition start at Silver, per the 2026-27 League Rules, tournament eligibility requires “a current APL Silver Membership or above.”
Under the 2026-27 structure, league season points are the accumulated total of your highest placement in each quarterly League Season Championship, four in a Full Season. Tournament points come from a ladder: your best twelve local finishes, best four Conference, best three Regional and best two Destination Series placements. Closed tournaments do not provide points for rankings.
SPR is your Season Player Rating. Per Scoreholio it is a rating “calculated based solely on games played within a specific season” a performance number that sits alongside your points total rather than replacing it.
