The rules of the board
How points work toward rankings
Three things decide whether a throw counts. All three come straight from the 2026-27 League Rules, the official membership tiers and Scoreholio’s documentation. The league publishes which finishes count, not the points per placement, and we do not invent them.
Play sanctioned events
Only sanctioned APL leagues and tournaments feed the national rankings. In the league's words: “Earn points in leagues and tournaments that count toward your official national ranking.”
Carry Silver or above
A free Bronze account plays league-night round robins. Official APL Rankings and sanctioned tournament competition start at Silver ($30/season): per the 2026-27 League Rules, tournament eligibility requires “a current APL Silver Membership or above.”
One season window
The official 2026-27 Full Season runs Aug 29, 2026 – Jul 31, 2027 in four League Quarters. Points come from your primary club's four quarterly League Season Championships plus your best 12 local, 4 Conference, 3 Regional and 2 Destination Series finishes, “Closed tournaments do not provide points for rankings.” Full breakdown →
